Biographie
O'Connor ist nach ihrem Collegeabschluß 1996 zunächst Mitglied bei Violet, nach deren Ende zieht sie 1999 nach New York und veröffentlicht ihre erste Solo-EP. 2002 folgt das selbstbetitelte Debütalbum, 2005 erscheint der Nachfolger The Color And The Light bei Red Panda. Auf dem 2006 bei Matador erscheinenden Album Over the Mountain, Across the Valley and Back to the Stars verarbeitet sie unter anderem den Tod ihrer beiden Schwestern.
