Ian Broudie
Ian Broudie (* 4. August 1958 in Liverpool, England) ist ein britischer Produzent und Musiker.

Biographie
In den 70ern spielt Broudie zunächst in der Punk-Band Big In Japan, die sich jedoch nach nicht mal einem Jahr wieder auflöst. Danach spielt er Gitarre bei The Original Mirrors und Bass bei Ellery Bop. 1983 gründen er und Paul Simpson die Band Care, die jedoch auch nur für ein paar Singles Bestand hat. Ende der 80er entsteht dann mit Simon Rogers die Band Lightning Seeds, die Broudies erfolgreichste Band als Musiker wird. 2004 veröffentlicht Broudie sein Soloalbum Tales Told.
Broudie beginnt schon früh als Produzent zu arbeiten (z.B. für Echo & The Bunnymen) und ist bis heute für eine ganze Reihe erfolgreicher Alben verantwortlich, am aktuellsten sind Produktionen für The Subways, The Zutons oder The Rifles.
