David Andrew Sitek, geboren 1972, ist ein amerikanischer Musiker und Produzent.

Biographie
Sitek stammt aus New York und wurde als Mitglied von TV on the Radio bekannt, wo er als Gitarrist, Bassist und Produzent fungiert. Darüber hinaus machte er sich auch als Produzent und Remixer einen Namen. Nach Produktionen für die Yeah Yeah Yeahs wurde er vor allem 2008 durch seine Arbeit mit Foals (die seine finale Version ihres Debütalbums verwarfen) und Scarlett Johansson bekannt. Sitek ist auch Fotograf und Maler und lebt in Brooklyn.
Im März 2009 schließt er sein Stay Gold Studio in Brooklyn, das er im April 2005 eröffnet hatte und in dem u.a. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear, Massive Attack, The Knife und David Bowie aufgenommen haben.
Im August 2010 erscheint sein erstes Solo-Album mit dem Titel Maximum Balloon auf dem unter anderem Karen O, David Byrne, Tunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone (beide von TV On The Radio), Holly Miranda, Theophilus London und Yukimi Nagano (Little Dragon) als Gäste zu hören sind. Anfang 2011 wird er quasi Bandmitglied bei Jane's Addiction, indem er für deren neues Album Bass spielt und Songs mitschreibt.
