Zum Album
Aus Bandkreisen wurde bekannt, dass stilistisch eine 180° Wende erfolgte, vom Hip Hop zu einem Post Punk Instrumentalalbum.
Mike D erklärte dazu in einem Interview:
What we do a lot is listen to music together, things that we're inspired by, everything from post-punk to Afrobeat to hip hop to whatever. We're almost as much music fans as we are a band that makes music. [1]
Nach dem Erscheinen das Albums wird angeblich noch eine weitere Version mit Gastsängern folgen. Z.B. ist eine Kollaboration mit M.I.A. geplant. [2]
